I love when a company does it right and I also love a Dairy Free Milk Alternative .. in fact I think I have tried every brand under the sun ..Ii dont think actually I know , I carry rice milk in my bag at all times .YES I AM THAT LAME!.
So its pretty important when I find a brand that does a delicious one .. thats organic, with few ingredients and kind of funny!

yes it exists .. I recently came across Rude health ( a health food company noted for its cereals and granola) they’ve branched out into milk alternative drinks . and they are great . good for the earth,body and mind . most notably they are one of the only almond milk brands that doesn’t contain CARRAGEENAN an additive that has shown to be cancer causing (WTF ! I KNOW ) along with gastrointestinal issues .. its best just avoided (CLICK HERE FOR FULL INFO) .
As for the rice milk , its the only brand i’ve come across in the UK that uses Brown Rice, so you’re getting a wholegrain .. a WHOLE FOOD !! which is lower Gi (sugary basically) than white rice and more nutritious ! it also means it is broken down by the body easier . can I get a WHOOP WHOOP !

not only does it not have any baddy additives, its also got an ingredients list that is so short ! so Rude health in perfect British form does exactly what its says on the tin .
Anyway point is its British , Environmentally friendly, healthy, funny, and far outshines all of the other million long ingredient milk alternatives .

1 cup milk substitute (rice , almond, oat whatever go crazy!)
1/3 cup water
1-2 Tbsp. coconut oil (optional but helpful for the flu-ey people because its of antibacterial properties)
raw honey/stevia/maple syrup to taste
Boil water and turmeric in small saucepan over medium-high heat for 8 minutes (the turmeric must be fully cooked if not powdered ). Meanwhile, bring the milk and coconut oil to boiling point in a separate pan and remove from heat. Combine the two mixtures and add sweetness of your choice .

Watermelon Slush Smoothie
- 1 small watermelon
- 2 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk
- Mint sprigs
Cut the watermelon into small chunks and freeze overnight. When fully frozen, blend the icy watermelon pieces and the almond milk in a blender until smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish with a few sprigs of mint. Enjoy!

I love making smoothies – banana, coconut water. Natural peanut butter, almond milk, YOR super greens and maybe some chia seeds with nutmeg. Could have this every day.
how does what you put into your body effect your whole being?
You are what you eat and what you absorb. I think digestive health is hugely under appreciated. Your immune system is intertwined with your digestive system so poor digestion often is a trigger for disease. Take care if your tummy and you’ll thank yourself later.
If I opened your fridge now , what would you be most proud of and what would you be most embarrassed by?
Hmmm most proud of my coconut water probably… And my huge array of tropical fruits!
Most embarrassed by the asian sweets in there that I’ve collected and never eaten … Probably going off. Oh I sometimes have kimchi in the fridge, which is fermented Korean cabbage… That’s a bit embarrassing .

Palmers cocoa butter or any anti-stretch mark and smoothing cream, dental floss – don’t neglect your gums!, pumice stone for your feet, skin brush for circulation… I drink ALOT of tea too – dandelion is great, burdock root tea helps circulation too (mine is terrible), and ginger and peppermint for post-meals

Lord knows almond milk is delicious , but loooong to make ,requiring cleaning up (icky yucky) and a muslin cloth .. who has one?? i once attempted making it with a stocking (enough said)
And buying it although not retarded expensive is still money from the pocket , also some nights when ive run out and i want a late night tea.. I’m like S**T.. then fell upon this … the easiest method all you need is a blender !
WHITE ALMOND BUTTER 2 Teaspoons (biona is a good brand)
3 CUPS OF WATER
*also add your preferred sweetener Stevia, Agave, Honey , sugar to taste .. maybe a little vanilla extract?)
